Fight For Your Marriage With Technology

We all know that communication is essential for a successful healthy marriage, but how do we follow through?

A few weeks ago, I did something kind of extreme for me... I turned in my iPhone. Along with my iPhone I gave up texting and went back to the basic phone service. I was used to texting everyone, and I missed it. It was easier for me than placing a call. (Possibly just because I'm lazy). But the texting that I missed the most was my hubby. We had gotten in to the habit of staying in constant contact throughout our days.

I just added a texting plan back to my phone line. It wasn't until I did so, that I truly realized how much I missed that constant communication. The extra charge on my phone bill is totally worth it.

We are in a world where it seems that everyone is on call 24/7. You can have instant access to me most days by calling, texting, emailing, instant messaging, facebooking, my spacing, twittering... just about any way that you can imagine. Why not use these things for more than just business issues? Why not use them to the advantage of our marriages?

Real life happens and we don't often get to sit down with our men for long in depth conversations about all the wonderful things that we go through in a day. We can use the little bits of time that we do get to twitter, or email, or text a small short message. One small warning, don't use them only as complaining or nagging times.

Fight For Your Marriage... talk to your hubby... and do it with technology.

So What Do You Think?

Hi guys! As you can see, I've changed things up a bit around here. I'm hoping that it will inspire me to spend some more time on my "internet home." I was tired of the busyness of the other design. What do you think about this one? You can be honest, my skin is thick! :)
